For example I would use quartering when i go pheasant hunting in the fields, Because there is so much field to work with obviously i cant watch or walk it all so I would let my dog run in a zigzag finding and scaring up pheasant to shoot. When you have two people you will have them stand like 50 yards away and let the dog run back and forth.
