How Time Flies When You Are Having Fun. No Es Cierto? Our Final Exam Day is Tuesday, June 6. We meet in the campus library from 10:15 to 11:45.
Your Final Exam will call for you to present your Sixties Research Project at our Student Press Conference. All students will be required to PRESENT for THREE MINUTES. They will also be required to ANSWER QUESTIONS from the AUDIENCE for THREE MINUTES.
You’ve done the research. YOU'VE ALREADY ANSWERED IMPORTANT QUESTIONS IN YOUR RESEARCH PAPER. You will be standing in front of your Project Mind Map on the Big Screen. Right behind you will have an outline for the ideas you worked so hard to develop.
Think about what you learned as you did the work. Do you want to share your QUOTE? Can you DEFINE a key idea. Will you be ready to share an important HISTORICAL CHARACTER that represents your sixties topic. Look at your ABSTRACT – This is an excellent resource you can use to explain to your audience what your research paper is about.
JAY'S TIP: DON'T BE ONE OF THOSE GUYS THAT DOESN'T PREPARE. Have something to say. So now, spend some time looking at your research inside your binder. Look at your Mind Map. No one expects you to report on everything. 1-2 things would be NICE. Practice in advance with Helpful HannaH. Here is her email: hannah.clay@imperial.edu
JAY'S FRIENDLY REMINDER: Your presentation is Your Final Exam Project – BRING YOUR PROJECT BINDER FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES!
You will be graded on the following:
- Professional behavior and preparation – effective use of time during presentation.
- Knowledge of subject matter – Ability to share 2-3 SIGNIFICANT elements of research
