When Amber began researching her paper about cancer treatment, she felt tremendous emotion deep inside – her friend Jessica had recently died from the disease.  It was a devastating time, considering Amber believes Jessica did not receive the effective and/or appropriate treatment that could have saved her life.  Amber questions the profit-making motives of the pharmaceutical companies. If they cared more about their patients than their money, Jessica may still be alive today.  Below is the visual analysis component of Amber's research project.
