I’ve been up all night grading community profiles. This semester I encouraged students to tap into first-hand knowledge and experience to shed light on an important topic. Before we ever saw the library, I asked them to start at home: “Do you have a story behind the story” Would their profile open up an important discussion of an idea, issue or controversy that might interest your readers?
